Spectators: 6671 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 0) Anguincila's Ariel Ipar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anguincila's Ciriaco Tonete proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Anguincila from getting a goal against them. Pucará FC's Godofredo Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Godofredo Cordeiro came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Pucará FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Cordeiro couldn't finish the play. When Luis Argider fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anguincila's protests and gave Luis Argider a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, Anguincila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Argider to maneuver through the defense. If Ariel Ipar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Larpe in the 17th minute of play forced Pucará FC's goalkeeper Hernan Silviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes, Anier Sotil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pucará FC and the Anguincila players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Anguincila booed when Pucará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Sotil didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Anguincila's Luis Argider got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Hernan Silviano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Ipar in the 29th minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, Pucará FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Chaime to maneuver through the defense. Hernan Silviano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Larpe in the 41st minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godfredo Chano to make the kick off. Ariel Ipar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernan Silviano having to make a save. Francisco Larpe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Hernan Silviano made a huge save. Ciriaco Tonete didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godfredo Chano went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Pucará FC's Hernan Silviano got control of the ball when Francisco Larpe tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Anguincila's zone, Godofredo Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Tonete came out of the goal and Godofredo Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 85th minute of the match Anier Sotil completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anier Sotil a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 87th minute, Ariel Ipar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ariel Ipar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anguincila's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Ipar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernan Silviano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ariel Ipar struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Hernan Silviano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anguincila. In the 97th minute Godofredo Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Tonete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pucará FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Anguincila had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
