Anguincila's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Anguincila's Ariel Ipar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hector Uhin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute of the match Samuel Rami shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciriaco Tonete showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidro Mark made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ariel Ipar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anguincila's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Ipar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Uhin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maldita Suerte FC's Hector Uhin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Larpe in the 58th minute of play. Anguincila's Francisco Larpe got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hector Uhin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Larpe's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Isidro Mark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ciriaco Tonete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Maldita Suerte FC booed when Anguincila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Baladi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Anguincila's Ariel Ipar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hector Uhin narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
