In the 13th minute, Antonio Atarrabi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Florentino Escobar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Atarrabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Jogo Bonito FC's zone, Ricardo Hermon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florentino Escobar came out of the goal and Ricardo Hermon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florentino Escobar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Hermon in the 16th minute. David Gaur hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Antonio Atarrabi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Regatas SN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Atarrabi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonio Atarrabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Florentino Escobar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Jogo Bonito FC's goalkeeper Florentino Escobar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Hermon. In the 27th minute Antonio Atarrabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Escobar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Sindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Gabirel in the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to Regatas SN getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Blas Santos hit a great ball. Ricardo Hermon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Florentino Escobar made a huge save. During the 41st minute of the match David Gaur completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave David Gaur a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Antonio Atarrabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Florentino Escobar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Jogo Bonito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Atarrabi came free, but Florentino Escobar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Hermon succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 46th playminute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ricardo Hermon struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Florentino Escobar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Regatas SN. Mateo Sindo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Jaunti went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 98th minute, Eliseo Senio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Regatas SN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Regatas SN fully deserved thier win.
