A sloppy throw-in by Basilio Markel in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rexas FC's Ivan Richie. After a rather tough play, Rexas FC's Gogo Etxeberri got a free kick in the 15th minute. Rexas FC's Aurelio Aguirre got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Jokin hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Verón AFC defense, Aurelio Aguirre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesus Fernanco. The Verón AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesus Fernanco should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Rexas FC's goal looked a bit too open when German Ordono came free, but Anacleto Herauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Belmiro's late challenge caught a Verón AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Belmiro helped the player get up and apologised. Elias Belmiro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Zacarias Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Fernanco having to interfere. Jesus Fernanco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Aguirre in the 35th minute. In the 45th minute, Honorato Weather hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Fonda shot a long shot in the 46th minute and a light blocked Anacleto Herauso hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciriaco Rafel was the one to do the kick off. Jesus Fernanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Chan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jesus Fernanco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zacarias Chan's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. When Rexas FC's Aurelio Aguirre in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Aguirre in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesus Fernanco saved Verón AFC from getting behind. 81 minutes into the match, Zacarias Chan notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Verón AFC's Jesus Fernanco. Jesus Fernanco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Verón AFC's Jesus Fernanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Chan in the 86th minute of play. Zacarias Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Fernanco having to interfere. Jesus Fernanco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zacarias Chan went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score.
