The referee ignored Rexas FC's protests and gave Gogo Etxeberri a yellow card for diving instead. Rexas FC:s Anacleto Herauso showed great skill when he stopped Delmiro Karlo:s penalty. Florentino Escobar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Chan in the 47th minute of play. The Jogo Bonito FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rexas FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurelio Aguirre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicanor Dimo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the game, Roberto Gabirel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jogo Bonito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rexas FC the free kick. With a little luck, Jogo Bonito FC's Florentino Escobar got control of the ball when Aurelio Aguirre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geronimo Belmiro hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Zacarias Chan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rexas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Chan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florentino Escobar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75thth minute of the game Roberto Gabirel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rexas FC's Anacleto Herauso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 76 in the game by Aurelio Aguirre from a close distance when the talented Florentino Escobar managed to make a qualified save. Jogo Bonito FC's players were relieved. Aurelio Aguirre who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Florentino Escobar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 83rd minute Zacarias Chan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Escobar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Chan in the 89th minute of play forced Jogo Bonito FC's goalkeeper Florentino Escobar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarias Chans short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Florentino Escobar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Jogo Bonito FC's zone, Aurelio Aguirre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florentino Escobar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Chan, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Rexas FC played a much better game than Jogo Bonito FC and deserved their victory. The Jogo Bonito FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
