Madero FC's Gerardo Urko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Ciano in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Madero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Guillem came free, but Gerardo Urko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Vinicio Guillem had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerardo Urko. Madero FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vinicio Guillem was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 26th match minute, Madero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Tiadoro to maneuver through the defense. Carolo Monico was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Madero FC defense, Rodrigo Eli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerardo Urko. The Madero FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerardo Urko should have stopped the shot. Tomas Gaxan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Rocio, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Tomas Gaxan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrés Silvera's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Tomas Gaxan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrés Silvera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Gaxan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Sarracino, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Filiberto Sarracino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Madero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiberto Sarracino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerardo Urko made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Elpidio Lluc sent off a good shot on target. Eustacio Ciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eustacio Ciano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gerardo Urko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Lluc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrés Silvera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Angelino Xabel put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Cienaguita booed when Madero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Xabel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cienaguita's Carolo Monico got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ermegildo Reno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrés Silvera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerardo Urko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Lluc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Andrés Silvera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Andrés Silvera got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Filiberto Sarracino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 82nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Haroldo Guillem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Gaxan having to interfere. Madero FC's Gerardo Urko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Guillem in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute Ovidio Rocio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Gaxan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrés Silvera's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Tomas Gaxan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. During the 90th minute of the match Vinicio Guillem completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Vinicio Guillem a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 90th match minute, Cienaguita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Guillem to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Lluc in the 92nd minute of play forced Madero FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Urko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Filiberto Sarracino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiberto Sarracino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Gaxan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Madero FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cienaguita.
