The supporters of PEVIRO FC booed when Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Fagildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venancio Grabiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Tadeo Eneas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Handi charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Handi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tadeo Eneas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Rosalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Venancio Grabiel sped through Belgrano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tadeo Eneas. In the 31st minute, Luis Handi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Venceslao took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tadeo Eneas. Belgrano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Epifanio Horado hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 35 played minutes PEVIRO FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Martino. Eleuterio Baumar hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Venancio Grabiel came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the PEVIRO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Grabiel couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustacio Rosalio got free with Tadeo Eneas in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rd match minute, Belgrano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Frichoso to maneuver through the defense. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeo Eneas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Grabiel in the 70th minute of play. Venancio Grabiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PEVIRO FC's Eustacio Rosalio got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Amado Frichoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgrano's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Frichoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillermo Pueblo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eustacio Rosalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgilio Peru in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeo Eneas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eustacio Rosalio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute.
