Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eustacio Ciano made the kick off which started today's match. Eustacio Ciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Quinto having to interfere. A collision led to Amalia getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Tomás Illan hit a great ball. Faustino Quinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Lluc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 6 played minutes Amalia got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Ulizes. After having played for 9 minutes, Eustacio Ciano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cienaguita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustacio Ciano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eustacio Ciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Gaxan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oscar Ellande showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Cienaguita's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Estevon came free, but Tomas Gaxan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Amalia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Illan to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute Eustacio Ciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Quinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Oscar Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Estevon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Gaxan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cienaguita's Rodrigo Eli got a free kick in the 34th minute. Tomas Gaxan came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Amalia's Daniel Estevon. But to his dismay, Daniel Estevon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Vinicio Guillem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Quinto having to interfere. Oscar Ellande who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Tomas Gaxan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Amalia's Oscar Ellande got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Estevon to make the kick off. If Elpidio Lluc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Gaxan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Estevon, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Faustino Quinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Ciano in the 68th minute of play. If Oscar Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Amalia's goalkeeper Faustino Quinto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Elpidio Lluc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faustino Quinto. Amalia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elpidio Lluc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 85th match minute, Amalia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Illan to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, one of Amalia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Amalia. Amalia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
