Reynaldo Elija ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Reynaldo Elija got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gerardo Urko quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luisito Gomez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrés Silvera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th match minute, los pibes de la esquina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Geleberto to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Geleberto's late challenge caught a Madero FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Geleberto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, los pibes de la esquina's Aurelio Geleberto got a free kick in the 20th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Filiberto Sarracino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Madero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiberto Sarracino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 23 played minutes los pibes de la esquina got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Bras. When Romulo Sanson fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored los pibes de la esquina's protests and gave Romulo Sanson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Romulo Sanson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Andrés Silvera came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Madero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrés Silvera couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Madero FC's Ermegildo Reno got a free kick in the 34th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Elija had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerardo Urko. Madero FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reynaldo Elija was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to los pibes de la esquina getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Teodosio Lidon hit a great ball. Moises Flor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Despite close surveillance by the defense, Reynaldo Elija managed to send off a shot that put the ball into the goal to the left of a disappointed goalkeeper. 2-0 in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrés Silvera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Filiberto Sarracino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Flor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Luisito Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerardo Urko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Bras in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Madero FC's Moises Flor got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 67 minutes of play, los pibes de la esquina's Reynaldo Elija made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerardo Urko was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Geleberto in the 71st minute of play forced Madero FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Urko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Flor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Luisito Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Melquiades Martxot fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored los pibes de la esquina's protests and gave Melquiades Martxot a yellow card for diving instead. Melquiades Martxot hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Moises Flor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 97th minute Narciso Bras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Urko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. los pibes de la esquina were victorious despite being under pressure from Madero FC for much of the match.
