But to his dismay, Omar Donio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Omar Donio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaston Corderro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Gaston Corderro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filomeno Barto went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Cloyo in the 96th minute of play forced ISRAEL's goalkeeper Ignacio Vistruario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ISRAEL's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
