The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Amado Frichoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Quinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Belgrano's protests and gave Isidoro Iraunkor a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Amalia booed when Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Iraunkor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Ellande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Eneas having to interfere. In the 34th minute Amado Frichoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Quinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustino Quinto came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgrano's Amado Frichoso. But to his dismay, Amado Frichoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 42 played minutes Amalia got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Jerrald. Amado Frichoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amado Frichoso to make the kick off. Tadeo Eneas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Oscar Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The penalty shot was made by Eleuterio Baumar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Amalia's Faustino Quinto. 2-1. Daniel Estevon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Estevon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Ulizes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Eneas having to interfere.
