Marco Reus made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Venancio Jax sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th match minute, Altavysta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Guipuzkoa to maneuver through the defense. Prospero Frutos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Dario Palos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prospero Frutos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Pacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Reus having to interfere. Marco Reus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Pacho in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Rive's Prospero Frutos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Palos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Club Atletico Rive getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Cirilo Pacho hit a great ball. After the first half Club Atletico Rive were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vicente Pacho made a kick off. Cirilo Pacho's late challenge caught a Altavysta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cirilo Pacho helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club Atletico Rive getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Cirilo Pacho hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Miguel Goi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atletico Rive's Ramon Conrao couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 60th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Altavysta. Dario Palos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prospero Frutos in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Altavysta's zone, Hilario Emmanuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Palos came out of the goal and Hilario Emmanuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 65 played minutes, Club Atletico Rive's Jonatan Abel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dario Palos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atletico Rive reached it. Club Atletico Rive's attack was well implemented in the 72nd minute, but when Hilario Emmanuel was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. If Prospero Frutos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hilario Emmanuel in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dario Palos saved Altavysta from getting behind. In the 89th minute, Vicente Pacho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Altavysta's Dario Palos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Altavysta from getting a goal against them. Hilario Emmanuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Reus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Goi in the 98th minute of the match. The Altavysta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Atletico Rive were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
