BANADE's Florentino Presebal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save BANADE from getting a goal against them. Club Atletico Rive's Marco Reus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Criston in the 30th minute of play. After 35 played minutes, BANADE's Edgardo Paul shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marco Reus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BANADE reached it. Florentino Presebal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prospero Frutos in the 43rd minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hilario Emmanuel to strike the kick off in the second half.
