Jimeno Peyo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ingmar Bermanseder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SENIORS UNITED's Miromir Mazierski got a free kick in the 16th minute. Ingmar Bermanseder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Txatxu in the 19th minute of the match. After 20 minutes SENIORS UNITED's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jimeno Peyo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led 2 de Choclo 1 de Carne's Jimeno Peyo to fire away a dangerous shot which Ingmar Bermanseder despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Manuel Urki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmar Lidon went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miromir Mazierski in the 30th minute of play forced 2 de Choclo 1 de Carne's goalkeeper Manuel Urki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimeno Peyo might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ingmar Bermanseder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jimeno Peyo ran back to his position shaking his head. Victorino Santxol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Delmar Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agustin Txatxu to make the kick off. 2 de Choclo 1 de Carne's Manuel Urki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save 2 de Choclo 1 de Carne from getting a goal against them. When Benicio Beltza came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the 2 de Choclo 1 de Carne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benicio Beltza couldn't finish the play. Agustin Txatxu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ingmar Bermanseder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Benicio Beltza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ingmar Bermanseder was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Delmar Lidon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Manuel Urki made a huge save. Ingmar Bermanseder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Txatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingmar Bermanseder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Milio in the 79th minute of play. A hard shot by Julio Ladio from long distance, 83 minutes into the match, got Manuel Urki's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Delmar Lidon fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SENIORS UNITED's protests and gave Delmar Lidon a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes SENIORS UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Lidon. A collision led to SENIORS UNITED getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Julio Ladio hit a great ball. After 88 played minutes, 2 de Choclo 1 de Carne's Jimeno Peyo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ingmar Bermanseder came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 2 de Choclo 1 de Carne reached it. When Delmar Lidon came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the SENIORS UNITED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Lidon couldn't finish the play. 2 de Choclo 1 de Carne were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
