Emilio Alvarez's late challenge caught a Grünbein's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Alvarez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, Emilio Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiburcio Menendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Chuan having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingos Elorri got free with Leonel Froila in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Grünbein getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Amador Rudolfo hit a great ball. Lorenzo Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Chuan having to interfere. Nicolas Bela charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolas Bela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Grünbein a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joel Markel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of canarios AFC's Eusebio Chuan. 1-1. After having played for 34 minutes, Jacobo Lucila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. canarios AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobo Lucila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grünbein's Leonel Froila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Lucila in the 37th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiburcio Menendo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Lorenzo Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusebio Chuan came out of the goal and Tiburcio Menendo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Domingos Elorri notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Grünbein's Leonel Froila. Leonel Froila was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute, Lorenzo Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Markel hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. If Tiburcio Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Domingos Elorri notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Grünbein's Leonel Froila. Leonel Froila was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Many of Grünbein's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Grünbein may have spent more time on the ball, but canarios AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
