Spectators: 6652 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Christian Hug got the match started through his kick off. Fauzón FC's Gaston Urti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Fauzón FC from getting a goal against them. In the 6th minute Amador Rudolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Urti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaston Urti was a little too slow when Tiburcio Menendo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Grünbein's Tiburcio Menendo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaston Urti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tiburcio Menendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Tiburcio Menendo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gaston Urti. That made the score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. Leonel Froila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Hug in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Nicasio Chano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Fauzón FC's goalkeeper Gaston Urti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Perez. Gaston Urti made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Lorenzo Perez sent off a good shot on target. Lorenzo Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Urti having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiburcio Menendo was the one to do the kick off. Nicasio Chano struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Leonel Froila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fauzón FC. In the 64th match minute, Grünbein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Rudolfo to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Leonel Froila managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Fauzón FC's Nicasio Chano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Menendo in the 73rd minute of play forced Fauzón FC's goalkeeper Gaston Urti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicasio Chano got free with Leonel Froila in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lorenzo Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Urti having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Grünbein's zone, Nicasio Chano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Froila came out of the goal and Nicasio Chano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, Grünbein's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Hug came free, but Leonel Froila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fauzón FC's Gaston Urti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Perez in the 88th minute of play. If Lorenzo Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Grünbein booed when Fauzón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Tercero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiburcio Menendo struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Gaston Urti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grünbein. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
