Spectators: 7084 (Terracing: 5384, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Clodoveo Gartzen took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in La Barraca FC's zone, Christian Hug stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Loren came out of the goal and Christian Hug tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Loren made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Nicasio Chano sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Gartzen in the 19th minute of play forced Fauzón FC's goalkeeper Gaston Urti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Fauzón FC booed when La Barraca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Perfecto didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Joseph in the 29th minute of play forced Fauzón FC's goalkeeper Gaston Urti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clodoveo Gartzen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Gaston Urti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaston Urti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Joseph, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a rather tough play, La Barraca FC's Silverio Fix got a free kick in the 46th minute. Christian Hug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Tobias Loren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Hug made a kick off. La Barraca FC's Anastasio Joseph came free and shot a quick shot against goal 55 minutes in the game, fortunately Gaston Urti had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 57th minute Elvio Tercero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Hug in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Loren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicasio Chano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tobias Loren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of La Barraca FC booed when Fauzón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Faron didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 minutes of play, La Barraca FC's Anastasio Joseph made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaston Urti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clodoveo Gartzen struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Gaston Urti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Barraca FC. Clodoveo Gartzen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Hug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Tobias Loren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, La Barraca FC's Pastor Lauaxeta got a free kick in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Christian Hug notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of La Barraca FC's Tobias Loren. Tobias Loren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
