A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Javier Pello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Arnau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Javier Pello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Arnau in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, la polenta fC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Gotzon to maneuver through the defense. Luciano Ordono in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After 42 minutes of play la polenta fC's Rolando Gotzon was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 43rd match minute, la polenta fC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Gotzon to maneuver through the defense. When Isidoro Arnau came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Duendes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Arnau couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidoro Arnau to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Isidoro Arnau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duendes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Arnau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Javier Pello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Isidoro Arnau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duendes's Teobaldo Nafarroa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Duendes from getting a goal against them. If Luciano Ordono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Isidoro Arnau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Pello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Luciano Ordono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duendes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Ordono was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Arnau in the 94th minute of play forced la polenta fC's goalkeeper Javier Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Ordono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Pello having to interfere. There was no doubt that Duendes were the better team. Duendes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
