When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximo Neron made a kick off. When Maximo Neron came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the COLON DE SANTA FE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximo Neron couldn't finish the play. After having played for 55 minutes, Lorenzo Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grünbein's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 65 minutes into the game, Amador Rudolfo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grünbein's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave COLON DE SANTA FE the free kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. COLON DE SANTA FE had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
