The referee ignored La Barraca FC's protests and gave Pastor Lauaxeta a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of COLON DE SANTA FE booed when La Barraca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Lauaxeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, COLON DE SANTA FE's Teodosio Kusko got a free kick in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Gartzen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victorio Tibalt. COLON DE SANTA FE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clodoveo Gartzen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dante Mitxaut kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Silverio Fix, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in COLON DE SANTA FE's zone, Anastasio Joseph stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Tibalt came out of the goal and Anastasio Joseph tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuel Ixona's late challenge caught a COLON DE SANTA FE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Ixona helped the player get up and apologised. Amancio Perfecto charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amancio Perfecto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victorio Tibalt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Joseph in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Joseph in the 34th minute of play forced COLON DE SANTA FE's goalkeeper Victorio Tibalt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in COLON DE SANTA FE's zone, Clodoveo Gartzen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Tibalt came out of the goal and Clodoveo Gartzen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victorio Tibalt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Gartzen in the 40th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Maximo Neron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clodoveo Gartzen scored 0-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victorio Tibalt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Efrain Marin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clodoveo Gartzen struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Victorio Tibalt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Barraca FC. Efrain Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Victorio Tibalt managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when La Barraca FC's Anastasio Joseph fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Clodoveo Gartzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Gartzen in the 70th minute of play forced COLON DE SANTA FE's goalkeeper Victorio Tibalt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, La Barraca FC's Pastor Lauaxeta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victorio Tibalt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pastor Lauaxeta might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorio Tibalt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pastor Lauaxeta ran back to his position shaking his head. Tobias Loren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Marin in the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in COLON DE SANTA FE's zone, Anastasio Joseph stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Tibalt came out of the goal and Anastasio Joseph tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to COLON DE SANTA FE getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Dante Mitxaut hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute Clodoveo Gartzen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Tibalt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clodoveo Gartzen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, COLON DE SANTA FE's Victorio Tibalt got control of the ball when Anastasio Joseph tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victorio Tibalt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Gartzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Ciriaco Cordareo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clodoveo Gartzen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Victorio Tibalt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorio Tibalt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Gartzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Barraca FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
