After a defensive mix-up in Grünbein's zone, Felix Maiorga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Froila came out of the goal and Felix Maiorga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiburcio Menendo to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Maiorga got free with Leonel Froila in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonel Froila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Maiorga in the 57th minute. In the 60th match minute, Donadeu AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Niguel to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Donadeu AFC booed when Grünbein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Chano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grünbein's Leonel Froila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Veronica in the 88th minute of play. Felix Maiorga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96thth minute of the game Raul Veronica who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grünbein's Leonel Froila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lorenzo Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Grünbein had won after a very even match.
