With a little luck, Serale's Bartolo Errolan got control of the ball when Luciano Ordono tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 4th minute Isidoro Arnau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Errolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Inocencio Santos put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Teobaldo Nafarroa. Teobaldo Nafarroa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inocencio Santos's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Bartolo Errolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Arnau in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Santos in the 20th minute of play forced Duendes's goalkeeper Teobaldo Nafarroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartolo Errolan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Gora in the 23rd minute of the match. Nicasio Gora kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Evelio Erasto hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes Duendes got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Derwin. In the 35th minute, Luciano Ordono left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Duendes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After some careless play in the Duendes defense, Inocencio Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teobaldo Nafarroa. The Duendes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teobaldo Nafarroa should have stopped the shot. Luciano Ordono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teobaldo Nafarroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Nahia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Nahia kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Inocencio Santos made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Duendes's goalkeeper Teobaldo Nafarroa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inocencio Santos. Isidoro Arnau struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Bartolo Errolan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Duendes. Inocencio Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Teobaldo Nafarroa made a huge save. 60 minutes into the match, Serale's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Arnau came free, but Bartolo Errolan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natalio Laurin's late challenge caught a Duendes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natalio Laurin helped the player get up and apologised. Natalio Laurin hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Nicasio Gora took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bartolo Errolan. Bartolo Errolan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Felix Jax lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Serale! In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Duendes. Haroldo Abreu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bartolo Errolan. 3-4. Inocencio Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Isidoro Arnau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duendes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Arnau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 89 played minutes, Duendes's Gervasio Derwin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bartolo Errolan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Duendes reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Duendes's zone, Inocencio Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Nafarroa came out of the goal and Inocencio Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaston Fanuco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bartolo Errolan. Serale's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Serale's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
