Spectators: 7250 (Terracing: 5439, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mauro Abeitia made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Tusquitas AFC booed when Chancaní was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Quinteros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo Firman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chancaní's Gustavo Demesio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Sancho in the 7th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chancaní's zone, Reynaldo Firman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Demesio came out of the goal and Reynaldo Firman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th match minute, Chancaní was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Quinteros to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Alvaro Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tusquitas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Demesio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo Demesio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Firman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alvaro Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Tusquitas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Sancho couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Alvaro Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tusquitas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Demesio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sixto Rafe fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chancaní's protests and gave Sixto Rafe a yellow card for diving instead. If Alvaro Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godfredo Quinteros's late challenge caught a Tusquitas AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Quinteros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute of the match Marcelino Cordeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Demesio skillfully saved the ball. Alvaro Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gustavo Demesio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Chancaní's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Sancho came free, but Gustavo Demesio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Firman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Gustavo Demesio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tusquitas AFC's Alvaro Sancho in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chancaní's goalie prevented a goal. Reynaldo Firman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Demesio having to interfere. 0-1 became the score in the 47th minute when Alvaro Sancho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reynaldo Firman to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Reynaldo Firman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 62 minutes into the game, Salvador Guerrero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tusquitas AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chancaní the free kick. After 63 played minutes Tusquitas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Guerrero. Mauro Abeitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ernesto Dominix came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Chancaní fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Dominix couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute, Reynaldo Firman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvaro Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Demesio having to interfere. Alvaro Sancho struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Gustavo Demesio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tusquitas AFC. In the 81stth minute of the game Reynaldo Firman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chancaní's Gustavo Demesio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alvaro Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Reynaldo Firman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had been going on for 93 minutes, Tusquitas AFC's Marcelino Cordeiro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gustavo Demesio. After a defensive mix-up in Chancaní's zone, Reynaldo Firman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Demesio came out of the goal and Reynaldo Firman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tusquitas AFC played a much better game than Chancaní and deserved their victory. The Chancaní players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
