When Gilberto Peruanton fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cubanea AFC's protests and gave Gilberto Peruanton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, Cubanea AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Peruanton to maneuver through the defense. Ashes FC's Teo Lander couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cubanea AFC. Efrain Odilon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Xabat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remigio Brun in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Efrain Odilon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 47 minutes into the match, Cubanea AFC's goalkeeper Hugo Gonsalvo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Dodorol. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remigio Brun made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Abascal in the 51st minute of play forced Cubanea AFC's goalkeeper Hugo Gonsalvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Odilon made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Emanuel Xabat sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the match, Remigio Brun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Efrain Odilon, 0-1. Efrain Odilon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Xabat in the 64th minute. A hard shot by Efrain Matthew from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Efrain Odilon's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The crowd rose to their feet as Cubanea AFC's Leonardo Valente slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Efrain Odilon. That made the score 0-2 after 78 minutes of play. 83 minutes into the match, Ashes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Brun came free, but Efrain Odilon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efrain Odilon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Brun in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Rodrigo Dodorol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ashes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The Cubanea AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ashes FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
