Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Ashes FC's Uriel Firman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rodrigo Dodorol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Hugo Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Brun in the 10th minute of play forced Ashes FC's goalkeeper Efrain Odilon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigio Brun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Odilon having to interfere. Efrain Odilon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Brun in the 16th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Remigio Brun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cubanea AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remigio Brun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Dodorol in the 21st minute of play forced Cubanea AFC's goalkeeper Hugo Gonsalvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Gilberto Peruanton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Efrain Odilon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Brun in the 28th minute of the match. Florentino Abeijon charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florentino Abeijon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st match minute, Ashes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Abeijon to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Xabats short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Efrain Odilon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hugo Gonsalvo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Firman in the 35th minute of play. Uriel Firman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 39 minutes, Uriel Firman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remigio Brun made a kick off. Edgard Abascal kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Remigio Brun sped through Ashes FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Efrain Odilon. After recieving a nice pass, Ashes FC's Teo Lander tried to score from far away in the 69th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Uriel Firman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Gonsalvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute Remigio Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Odilon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ashes FC's zone, Remigio Brun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Odilon came out of the goal and Remigio Brun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remigio Brun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Efrain Odilon having to make a save. Cubanea AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
