Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Elias Polentzi got the match started through his kick off. Gaudencio Maties blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilberto Mosen having to make a save. Elias Polentzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Gilberto Mosen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 9 in the game by Gaudencio Maties from a close distance when the talented Gilberto Mosen managed to make a qualified save. Caroya's players were relieved. After having played for 12 minutes, Anselmo Oriol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caroya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Oriol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st match minute, Pico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Lon to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute of the match Pascual Rodas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Genaro Loiola showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pico's Elias Polentzi got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horacio Boni's late challenge caught a Caroya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horacio Boni helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pico's Horacio Boni got a free kick in the 27th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Caroya's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Polentzi came free, but Gilberto Mosen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Polentzi in the 34th minute of play forced Caroya's goalkeeper Gilberto Mosen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Polentzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Mosen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Gilberto Mosen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Polentzi in the 38th minute of the match. When Gaudencio Maties came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Pico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Maties couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Federico Lidon made the kick off in the second half. Gaudencio Maties sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Elias Polentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaudencio Maties recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaudencio Maties fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Mosen having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Caroya's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Polentzi came free, but Gilberto Mosen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascual Rodas kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Pico's Maximino Ongile couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Caroya. Federico Lidon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Genaro Loiola came out and tried to block the shot, but Federico Lidon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 71st minute. 75 minutes into the match, Caroya's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Boni came free, but Gilberto Mosen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Horacio Gentza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Maximino Ongile sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Caroya's Gilberto Mosen didn't even have to move. Gaudencio Maties recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gaudencio Maties had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Nemesio Lon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anselmo Oriol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Genaro Loiola having to make a save.
