Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Paneumo FC's Pastor Urtzi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Federico Lidon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carolo Firmin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Horacio Gentza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Caroya's Horacio Gentza got a free kick in the 7th minute. Jeronimo Koldobika hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Paneumo FC's Pastor Urtzi got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Urtzi in the 20th minute of play forced Caroya's goalkeeper Gilberto Mosen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carolo Firmin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Lidon, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Anselmo Oriol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Carolo Firmin made a huge save. 33 minutes in the game, Anselmo Oriol fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Carolo Firmin having to interfere. When Paneumo FC's Teo Gai in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caroya's goalie prevented a goal. In the 48th minute, Anselmo Oriol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caroya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Federico Lidon made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Oriol in the 59th minute of play forced Paneumo FC's goalkeeper Carolo Firmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teo Gai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot by Pablo Abecia from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Gilberto Mosen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Paneumo FC's Pastor Urtzi, in the 75th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Paneumo FC. Carolo Firmin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Lidon, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Carolo Firmin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Lidon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Teo Gai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pastor Urtzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94thth minute of the game Anselmo Oriol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paneumo FC's Carolo Firmin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Caroya had won after a very even match.
