Spectators: 7179 (Terracing: 5386, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Federico Lidon kicked off to start the match. Benito Totakoxe made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Federico Lidon sent off a good shot on target. If Anselmo Oriol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st match minute, Prunus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Gustau to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Caroya's Pascual Rodas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Pascual Rodas's late challenge caught a Prunus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascual Rodas helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Caroya got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Rodas. Prunus's Vicente Roldan got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 31 minutes, Horacio Gentza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caroya and the Prunus players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes Caroya got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Gentza. 35 minutes into the match, Caroya's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Leizarraga came free, but Gilberto Mosen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Mosen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Leizarraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anselmo Oriol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Benito Totakoxe made a huge save. 46 minutes into the match, Iker Leizarraga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Mosen. Caroya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iker Leizarraga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iker Leizarraga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Caroya getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Aquiles Clemencin hit a great ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Anselmo Oriol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caroya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Oriol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Totakoxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Lidon, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Federico Lidon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Federico Lidon came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Caroya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Lidon couldn't finish the play. Vicente Roldan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Gilberto Mosen made a huge save. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Federico Lidon sped through Prunus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Totakoxe. Caroya's Anselmo Oriol got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Oriol in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Totakoxe saved Prunus from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Prunus's Filiberto Gustau got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute, Caroya's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vicente Roldan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Anselmo Oriol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
