The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Matxin during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bruno Matxin hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Amancio Illart didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Dodorol went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Justo Txilar struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Efrain Odilon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Blas. Ignacio Astigar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justo Txilar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Efrain Odilon made a huge save. 23 minutes into the game, Norberto Tabby was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Blas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ashes FC the free kick. The supporters of Ashes FC booed when Deportivo Blas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Tabby didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 28th minute of the match Bruno Matxin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bruno Matxin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Justo Txilar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 37th playminute. If Justo Txilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 44 minutes, Rodrigo Dodorol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ashes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Dodorol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Uriel Firman made a kick off. Uriel Firman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Amancio Illart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute Justo Txilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Odilon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Eusebio Jakobe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ashes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Blas the free kick. After 61 played minutes Ashes FC got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Jakobe. Efrain Odilon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Txilar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justo Txilar might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Efrain Odilon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justo Txilar ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Deportivo Blas getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Alonzo Moise hit a great ball. Deportivo Blas's Amancio Illart proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Blas from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Justo Txilar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Blas's supporters rose to their feet, but Justo Txilar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efrain Odilon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Blas's zone, Rodrigo Dodorol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amancio Illart came out of the goal and Rodrigo Dodorol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ignacio Astigar kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Justo Txilar's late challenge caught a Ashes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justo Txilar helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Blas's Justo Txilar got a free kick in the 90th minute. Amancio Illart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Firman in the 92nd minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
