Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Uriel Firman made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Ashes FC's Niceto Norino seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Niceto Norino the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ashes FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Niceto Norino had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Pico's Elias Polentzi got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusebio Jakobe charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusebio Jakobe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pico booed when Ashes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Jakobe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Efrain Odilon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Polentzi in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ashes FC's goalkeeper Efrain Odilon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Polentzi in the 19th minute of play forced Ashes FC's goalkeeper Efrain Odilon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes Pico got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Maties. After having played for 28 minutes, Rodrigo Dodorol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ashes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Dodorol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaudencio Maties who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Efrain Odilon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Gaudencio Maties came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Pico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Maties couldn't finish the play. Alonzo Sagrario kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Maximino Ongile took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Efrain Odilon. Ashes FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Efrain Odilon made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Gaudencio Maties sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute, Pico's Nemesio Lon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Efrain Odilon. Efrain Odilon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Polentzi was the one to do the kick off. Rodrigo Dodorol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute, Eusebio Jakobe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Polentzi in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efrain Odilon saved Ashes FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Rodrigo Dodorol could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Genaro Loiola however easily saved by the left post. 71 minutes into the game, Hipolito Gilesindo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ashes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pico the free kick. In the 71st minute, Hipolito Gilesindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Elias Polentzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pico's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Polentzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efrain Odilon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elias Polentzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Efrain Odilon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elias Polentzi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 79thth minute of the game Elias Polentzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ashes FC's Efrain Odilon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 82 minutes of play, Pico's Elias Polentzi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Efrain Odilon was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th match minute, Ashes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Abascal to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute of the match Maximino Ongile shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Efrain Odilon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Pico's Elias Polentzi in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ashes FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 95th minute, Rodrigo Dodorol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pico had won after a very even match.
