The Genaro Loiola was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 16th minute Roberto Ostadar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Loiola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justo Lauren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Polentzi in the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Jonatan Salvino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Salvino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Juniors the free kick. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roberto Ostadar to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Ostadar in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genaro Loiola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute, Roberto Ostadar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Genaro Loiola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nemesio Lon's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nemesio Lon helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Pico got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Lon. Justo Lauren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Polentzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
