In the 16th minute, Elias Polentzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Maximiliano Bide might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genaro Loiola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauro Salvidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Loiola having to interfere. Desiderio Alvarez kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Tortuguitas AFC's Ismael Elazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Polentzi in the 31st minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Tortuguitas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Isidor to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th match minute, Tortuguitas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Alvarez to maneuver through the defense. Gaudencio Maties took the ball and in the 49 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Elazar. Ismael Elazar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The Tortuguitas AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pico were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elias Polentzi made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Pico's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Bide came free, but Genaro Loiola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
