Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amancio Illart, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 6 minutes into the match, Deportivo Blas's Justo Txilar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carolo Firmin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amancio Illart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Urtzi in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute Pastor Urtzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Illart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Paneumo FC's Amancio Illart threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pastor Urtzi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Teo Gai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norberto Tabby took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carolo Firmin. Paneumo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ignacio Astigar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Firmin having to interfere. Deportivo Blas's Amancio Illart proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Blas from getting a goal against them. After having played for 29 minutes, Ignacio Astigar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Blas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Astigar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Astigar in the 37th minute of play forced Paneumo FC's goalkeeper Carolo Firmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carolo Firmin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Txilar in the 39th minute of the match. When Justo Txilar came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Deportivo Blas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justo Txilar couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pastor Urtzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Paneumo FC's goalkeeper Carolo Firmin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Matxin. In the 61st minute, Ignacio Astigar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pastor Urtzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Cornelio Leguizamón fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Blas's protests and gave Cornelio Leguizamón a yellow card for diving instead. Cornelio Leguizamón hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Amancio Illart didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pastor Urtzi went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Justo Txilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Firmin having to interfere. Carolo Firmin was a little too slow when Ignacio Astigar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Astigar in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carolo Firmin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute, Guido Haritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paneumo FC's Pastor Urtzi got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Matxin struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Carolo Firmin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Blas. Horacio Oto's late challenge caught a Deportivo Blas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horacio Oto helped the player get up and apologised. Horacio Oto kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
