With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Claris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Iruya getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Bruno Barea hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Leo Goi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Iruya's Arturo Claris didn't even have to move. In the 19th minute Higinio Rey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Claris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Victorino Macario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, TOHO FC's Leo Goi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arturo Claris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Bruno Barea hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Tercero in the 31st minute of play forced Iruya's goalkeeper Arturo Claris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Marquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Saverio Abancens made a huge save. Leo Goi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Claris having to interfere. Arturo Claris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Goi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Evelio Solustiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Tercero in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Claris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Fresco to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Iruya got a freekick which was hit by Victor Reno. Leo Goi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arturo Claris. Iruya's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Victorino Macario was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. TOHO FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 59th minute, Victorino Macario reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arturo Claris. The goal made the score 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Camilo Tercero managed to get in a good position for a shot. TOHO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Tercero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Claris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camilo Tercero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Arturo Claris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Camilo Tercero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Claris was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game.
