The referee ignored Cúspide FC's protests and gave Ladislao Canor a yellow card for diving instead. If Victoriano Frascuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Ladislao Canor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro Chepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Perrando in the 26th minute of play. Mauro Chepe made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Maximino Berdoi sent off a good shot on target. Victoriano Frascuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jesus Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesus Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Frascuelo in the 38th minute of the match. Club Atletico Belgrano's Jesus Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Frascuelo in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Cúspide FC's Benedicto Mantzio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jesus Fernandes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcos Perrando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Belgrano's Humberto Llin got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute of the match, Victoriano Frascuelo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jesus Fernandes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Benedicto Mantzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Fernandes having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Victoriano Frascuelo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Club Atletico Belgrano's Jesus Fernandes. Jesus Fernandes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 73 minutes into the match, Victoriano Frascuelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesus Fernandes. Club Atletico Belgrano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victoriano Frascuelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Benedicto Mantzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Perrando struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Mauro Chepe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Belgrano. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Belgrano defense, Victoriano Frascuelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesus Fernandes. The Club Atletico Belgrano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesus Fernandes should have stopped the shot. Cúspide FC played a much better game than Club Atletico Belgrano and deserved their victory. The Club Atletico Belgrano players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
