After a defensive mix-up in Malaspina's zone, Anastasio Vellito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Gelmiro came out of the goal and Anastasio Vellito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cleto Polentzi took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severo Jordy. Severo Jordy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Severo Jordy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lisandro Merexildo went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Belgrano's Severo Jordy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Polentzi in the 33rd minute of play. Lisandro Merexildo struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Severo Jordy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malaspina. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Polentzi in the 47th minute of play forced Belgrano's goalkeeper Severo Jordy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When Lisandro Merexildo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Malaspina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Merexildo couldn't finish the play. Malaspina's Isidro Gelmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Etxatxu in the 58th minute of play. Cleto Polentzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Malaspina getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Romeo Steven hit a great ball. Robustiano Henric recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidro Gelmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Etxatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeo Steven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Jordy having to interfere. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Cleto Polentzi sped through Belgrano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Severo Jordy. If Lisandro Merexildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Malaspina left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Belgrano.
