Neriman Pérez took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jesus Fernandes. Jesus Fernandes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, Malvinas Argentinas's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Berdoi came free, but Damaso Niguel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Malvinas Argentinas's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Rumaldo came free, but Damaso Niguel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Malvinas Argentinas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damaso Niguel should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Neriman Pérez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, German Germain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After having played for 65 minutes, Igor Estebano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malvinas Argentinas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Estebano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Narciso Corderall's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Belgrano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Corderall helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Malvinas Argentinas got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Corderall. The supporters of Malvinas Argentinas booed when Club Atletico Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Lore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesus Fernandes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of German Germain's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Malvinas Argentinas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
