Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sportivo Mendocretenence's Tadeo Arotza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. MatiFC's Dario Iban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Arotza in the 3rd minute of play. Dario Iban came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Mendocretenence's Marco Ruben. But to his dismay, Marco Ruben quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 9th minute Pablo Irrintzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkem Demirbaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sportivo Mendocretenence booed when MatiFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Evis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Benedicto Abaunza came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Sportivo Mendocretenence fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Abaunza couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Arotza in the 13th minute of play forced MatiFC's goalkeeper Dario Iban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Marco Ruben came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Sportivo Mendocretenence fans jumped to their feet. Berkem Demirbaş was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Roberto Tanio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roberto Tanio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 23rd minute Marco Ruben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Iban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Iban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Arotza in the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Tadeo Arotza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dario Iban. MatiFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeo Arotza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Dario Iban didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Ruben went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. If Tadeo Arotza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeo Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Iban having to interfere. After the first half Sportivo Mendocretenence were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Dario Iban was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Marco Ruben capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marco Ruben really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. After having played for 59 minutes, Tadeo Arotza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Mendocretenence's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Arotza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfo Tello hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. With his leg Dario Iban managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Sportivo Mendocretenence's Marco Ruben fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dario Iban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Arotza in the 71st minute of the match. Tadeo Arotza had several of the MatiFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 72 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Dario Iban as he didn't even see the shot coming. 78 minutes into the game, Tadeo Arotza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Dario Iban was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sportivo Mendocretenence made a substitution. Luisito Luken replaced Sebastian Oliviero. In the 85th play minute Marco Ruben came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dario Iban. 1-7. If Marco Ruben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Iban made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Marco Ruben sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in MatiFC's zone, Tadeo Arotza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Iban came out of the goal and Tadeo Arotza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MatiFC's Dario Iban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Arotza in the 97th minute of play. Sportivo Mendocretenence's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
