Though ot was a great shot Metaguacha FC's keeper Jaime Reynardo was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Metaguacha FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MatiFC:s goal. In the 46th minute, Roberto Tanio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albano Mogel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dario Iban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Mogel in the 54th minute of play.
