Marciano Austin came out of the goal and Cornelio Maju tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guillermo Sesuldo charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Sesuldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guillermo Sesuldo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Cornelio Maju recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Constantino Florinio fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Lavandería de Bernal's protests and gave Constantino Florinio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Constantino Florinio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience cheered when Enrique Tauro's long shot passed Marciano Austin's right side. It was 1-0, 22 minutes into the match. Real Bañil CF's Esteban Manuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Txordon in the 28th minute of play. Edelmiro Txordon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Manuelo having to interfere. Real Bañil CF's Esteban Manuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Guerrero in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Virgilio Tello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Enrique Tauro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rene Guerrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Esteban Manuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57thth minute of the game Baltasar Jaunzuria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Lavandería de Bernal's Marciano Austin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Real Bañil CF's Cornelio Maju nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marciano Austin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a little luck, Real Bañil CF's Esteban Manuelo got control of the ball when Rene Guerrero tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Rene Guerrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Nikola charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciriaco Nikola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Real Bañil CF booed when La Lavandería de Bernal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Nikola didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute Edelmiro Txordon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Manuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
