The supporters of Metaguacha FC booed when Locomia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Magdaleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Reynardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Cucao, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Locomia's goalkeeper Anier Aznaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iker Nevada. If Eustacio Cucao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Melquiades Rolado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christian Fresco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Locomia's goalkeeper Anier Aznaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iker Nevada. Iker Nevada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anier Aznaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Metaguacha FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Onofre. Melquiades Rolado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustacio Cucao was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Metaguacha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Cucao came free, but Jaime Reynardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Albano Mogel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Anier Aznaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Iker Nevada came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Metaguacha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Nevada couldn't finish the play. After 59 played minutes Metaguacha FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Blanco. In the 62ndth minute of the game Eustacio Cucao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metaguacha FC's Jaime Reynardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Melquiades Rolado came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Locomia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Rolado couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iker Nevada in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Aznaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melquiades Rolado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Eustacio Cucao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Locomia's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustacio Cucao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Reynardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 74 minutes, Melquiades Rolado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Locomia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Rolado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eustacio Cucao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melquiades Rolado struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Jaime Reynardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Locomia. When Paulo Federigo fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Metaguacha FC's protests and gave Paulo Federigo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Metaguacha FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Paulo Federigo hit a great ball. In the 88th minute of the match Christian Fresco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaime Reynardo skillfully saved the ball. Melquiades Rolado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albano Mogel scored 3-0 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anier Aznaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Many of Locomia's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Locomia may have spent more time on the ball, but Metaguacha FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
