To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the game, Ruben Jatsu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ragnarsson AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosario Central the free kick. In the 12th match minute, Ragnarsson AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Jatsu to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ragnarsson AC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ubaldo Txurio was slow to take the kick. During this time Rosario Central's players had a chance to rest. When Ubaldo Txurio, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 16 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rafael Mergildo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Rosario Central's Teo Urki got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Cleto Txema sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rosario Central's Pedro Richie didn't even have to move. Maximino Caradaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vinicio Cambranes fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosario Central's protests and gave Vinicio Cambranes a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Ragnarsson AC's Rafael Mergildo got control of the ball when Maximino Caradaro tried to sneak it across the goal line.
