Saber F.C's Luisito Gaskon got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernesto Erdiano came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.SAN TELMO's Jonas Txomin. But to his dismay, Jonas Txomin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some careless play in the C.A.SAN TELMO defense, Rafael Calisto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bonifacio Lico. The C.A.SAN TELMO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bonifacio Lico should have stopped the shot. If Edgard Chepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ramón Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Ernesto Erdiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Uhin, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute.
