The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Chorrillos FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ladislao Ipar hit a great ball. Jacinto Mogel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Orti in the 9th minute of the match. Encrucijada's Felipe Orti got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Chorrillos FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Teo Dubardo hit a great ball. Felipe Orti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacinto Mogel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Osoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 28th minute, Edgard Osoro made a precise shot to the right of Jacinto Mogel. Chorrillos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 32 minutes into the game, Carlos Irrintzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chorrillos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Encrucijada the free kick. The supporters of Encrucijada booed when Chorrillos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Irrintzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Edgard Osoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Mogel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Guaberto Hori came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Chorrillos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Hori couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard Osoro in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Mogel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Chorrillos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Encrucijada were winning 0-3.

Felipe Orti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacinto Mogel having to make a save. 54 minutes into the game, Juan Cordarrol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Felipe Orti in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacinto Mogel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jacinto Mogel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fernando Egoitz. In the 71st minute, one of Encrucijada:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Encrucijada. Felipe Orti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Felipe Orti came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Encrucijada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Orti couldn't finish the play. Jacinto Mogel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Encrucijada's Edgard Osoro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Edgard Osoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgard Osoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Mogel having to interfere. The Chorrillos FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Encrucijada were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
