Zeledon Xabier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Veto having to interfere. Roman Veto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Palos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Pecadora Tropitango's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgardo Etxahun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. La Pecadora Tropitango's Desiderio Rutenio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Etxahun in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgardo Etxahun was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, LOS CANAYAS FC's Apolo Kinsen got a free kick in the 88th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacio Dorio during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to La Pecadora Tropitango getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ignacio Dorio hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. LOS CANAYAS FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
