With a little luck, Barrancas's Vladimiro Lopez got control of the ball when Melquiades Cloyo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgardo Etxahun might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimiro Lopez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Etxahun ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Etxahun in the 15th minute of play forced Barrancas's goalkeeper Vladimiro Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Cloyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Vladimiro Lopez made a huge save. 18 minutes into the game, Rogelio Urtzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrancas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LOS CANAYAS FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Barrancas's Rogelio Urtzi got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute Oscar Rameriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Veto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melquiades Cloyo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Vladimiro Lopez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roman Veto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Urtzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes, Baldomiro Asier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrancas and the LOS CANAYAS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of LOS CANAYAS FC booed when Barrancas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Asier didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 played minutes Barrancas got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Urtungo. Edgardo Etxahun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Vladimiro Lopez managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when LOS CANAYAS FC's Apolo Kinsen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roman Veto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Urtzi in the 35th minute of play. Apolo Kinsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Lopez having to interfere. After a rather tough play, LOS CANAYAS FC's Lino Jatsu got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 42 played minutes Edgardo Etxahun rounded Barrancas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Etxahun in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimiro Lopez saved Barrancas from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgardo Etxahun was the one to do the kick off. When Everardo Jatsu fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOS CANAYAS FC's protests and gave Everardo Jatsu a yellow card for diving instead. 55 minutes into the game, one of LOS CANAYAS FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 60 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Gonchan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrancas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LOS CANAYAS FC the free kick. Vladimiro Lopez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Etxahun's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Rogelio Urtzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrancas's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Urtzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Veto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rogelio Urtzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Rogelio Urtzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Barrancas's Marcelino Machado got a free kick in the 74th minute. Vladimiro Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Etxahun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84thth minute of the game Rogelio Urtzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LOS CANAYAS FC's Roman Veto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 90 minutes, Melquiades Cloyo made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Barrancas's Vladimiro Lopez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardino Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Rogelio Urtzi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roman Veto. That made the score 2-2 in the 96 minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
