Narciso Mede was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maximino Errolan kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Rogelio Urtzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Apple Tree's Narciso Mede got control of the ball when Oscar Rameriz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rogelio Urtzi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Narciso Mede came out and tried to block the shot, but Rogelio Urtzi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 17th minute. Oscar Rameriz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Narciso Mede made a huge save. Cleto Tabby hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes of play, Apple Tree's Alvaro Pabla made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimiro Lopez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes into the match, Apple Tree's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Urtzi came free, but Narciso Mede reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Mede made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Urtzi in the 41st minute of play. Narciso Mede showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Urtzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Oscar Rameriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Narciso Mede tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guillermo Semeno to make the kick off. A hard shot by Emanuel Costante from long distance, 55 minutes into the match, got Vladimiro Lopez's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Cleto Tabby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimiro Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Semeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Guillermo Semeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Desiderio Llope fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrancas's protests and gave Desiderio Llope a yellow card for diving instead. Desiderio Llope hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Guillermo Semeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Lopez having to interfere. In the 76th minute of the match Emanuel Costante shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vladimiro Lopez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Apple Tree's Alvaro Pabla got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Oscar Rameriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogelio Urtzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Mede having to interfere. Narciso Mede made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Urtzi in the 94th minute of play. Rogelio Urtzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barrancas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
