Lorenzo Froila might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Veto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Froila ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 5th minute Tomás Urbez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Veto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Etxahun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Balendin having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Melquiades Cloyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOS CANAYAS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Cloyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ambrosio Balendin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Melquiades Cloyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. Roman Veto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Urbez in the 26th minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, LOS CANAYAS FC's Melquiades Cloyo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ambrosio Balendin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leonel Lando hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, LOS CANAYAS FC's Gervasio Gutierrez tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Erubiel Florin sped through LOS CANAYAS FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roman Veto. The Panquena FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LOS CANAYAS FC were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Etxahun to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Froila in the 53rd minute of play forced LOS CANAYAS FC's goalkeeper Roman Veto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Urbez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Roman Veto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roman Veto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Froila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Panquena FC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Balendin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melquiades Cloyo. After having played for 72 minutes, Tomás Urbez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panquena FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Urbez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Lorenzo Froila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roman Veto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 77th minute, Edgardo Etxahun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute Edgardo Etxahun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Balendin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panquena FC's Ambrosio Balendin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Panquena FC from getting a goal against them. If Tomás Urbez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melquiades Cloyos short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Ambrosio Balendin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With an all-out effort, LOS CANAYAS FC's Ambrosio Balendin threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgardo Etxahun, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 95 played minutes, LOS CANAYAS FC's Gervasio Gutierrez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ambrosio Balendin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LOS CANAYAS FC reached it. Natalio Isaio kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
