Spectators: 7140 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Omar Ilixo started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Unidos FC booed when VELEZ A MORIR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Gaur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Unidos FC's Alejandro Eneko tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Epifanio Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, VELEZ A MORIR's goalkeeper Anier Silvanito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Epifanio Karlo. When VELEZ A MORIR's Narciso Hulberto in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Unidos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Angelo Iratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anier Silvanito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Unidos FC's Dalmacio Pes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anier Silvanito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Unidos FC's Romeo Ignado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Hulberto in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Unidos FC's Angelo Iratze got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 31st minute Omar Ilixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Ignado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Ilixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Ignado having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Epifanio Karlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unidos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Epifanio Karlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Omar Ilixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. VELEZ A MORIR's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Ilixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Ignado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Ilixo in the 56th minute of play forced Unidos FC's goalkeeper Romeo Ignado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcial Confesor during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcial Confesor hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Anier Silvanito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Karlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejandro Eneko kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Epifanio Karlo in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Silvanito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th minute, Unidos FC's Atilano Urki seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Atilano Urki the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Unidos FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Atilano Urki had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 74 minutes into the game, one of Unidos FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Saul Polo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! VELEZ A MORIR's Narciso Hulberto got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dalmacio Pes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anier Silvanito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Dalmacio Pes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Silvanito having to interfere. Romeo Ignado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Ilixo in the 91st minute of play. VELEZ A MORIR's Anier Silvanito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Pes in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute Omar Ilixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Ignado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unidos FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of VELEZ A MORIR for a fine match.
