Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mondonguitos FC's Elpidio Raebert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ramon Hori in the 3 minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Elpidio Raebert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mondonguitos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Raebert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pastor Tartalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudio Lopez was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Zeledon Markel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zeledon Markel really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Godofredo Lesardo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Cristian Lekubegi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudio Lopez made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Florencio Tauro sent off a good shot on target. Pastor Tartalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Salvator in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Laprida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Hori to maneuver through the defense. Laprida's Pastor Tartalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Gilesindo in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Laprida getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Sergio Calvino hit a great ball. Claudio Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Markel in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Wilfredo Gilesindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Tartalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Lopez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florencio Tauro went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laprida's goalkeeper Pastor Tartalo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilfredo Gilesindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34thth minute of the game Tiburcio Manny who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mondonguitos FC's Claudio Lopez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mondonguitos FC's Claudio Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Manny in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Laprida getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Zeledon Markel hit a great ball. Wilfredo Gilesindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Pastor Tartalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efrain Cayo struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Pastor Tartalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mondonguitos FC. After a defensive mix-up in Laprida's zone, Amador Salvator stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Tartalo came out of the goal and Amador Salvator tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Wilfredo Gilesindo made the kick off in the second half. When Florencio Tauro came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Laprida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Tauro couldn't finish the play. Claudio Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Manny in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Zeledon Markel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudio Lopez. Mondonguitos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeledon Markel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 57 minutes into the match, Mondonguitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Manny came free, but Claudio Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amador Salvator blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pastor Tartalo having to make a save. Zeledon Markel took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudio Lopez. Claudio Lopez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 68 minutes into the match, Mondonguitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Markel came free, but Claudio Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Mondonguitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Salvator to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Manny notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Mondonguitos FC's Claudio Lopez. Claudio Lopez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wilfredo Gilesindo got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 6-1 in the right cross in the 78th match minute before Pastor Tartalo had time to react. In the 85th minute, Laprida's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Efrain Cayo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Wilfredo Gilesindo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Pastor Tartalo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Claudio Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Manny in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mondonguitos FC's Amador Salvator got a free kick in the 89th minute. Mondonguitos FC's Claudio Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Manny in the 93rd minute of play. Pastor Tartalo made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Amador Salvator sent off a good shot on target. 98 minutes into the game, Ramon Hori was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laprida's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mondonguitos FC the free kick. Many of Mondonguitos FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mondonguitos FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Laprida were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
